Can you believe it? We have entered into the fourth month of 2021 and just a couple more months until Summer!
April is known for beautiful spring weather, the start of warmer weather, and right about the time when the Easter bunny will make an appearance! The true meaning of Easter goes beyond bunnies and eggs and fresh spring flowers. Easter is celebrated as a joyous occasion and the Sunday prior is called Palm Sunday which marks the arrival of Jesus in Jerusalem. Various churches begin the celebration in the late hours of Saturday through a religious service called Easter Vigil. Non–religious celebrations include the tradition of Easter eggs, which represent fertility and birth and Easter bunny which delivers chocolates and sweets to kids on Sunday morning. April is also a great month for meteor showers. One of which is the Lyrids meteor shower, which appears from April 16th to April 26th each year. There’s another one called the Eta Aquariids meteor shower that can be seen onwards from April 19th. So, as we have entered into Spring, we all know, the saying, “April showers bring May flowers,” so if the rain of April ever gets you down, never forget the silver lining!
